Blog Week 1 - Happy Hips!

Hello and welcome to the first blog post!

This is my first blog and I am excited about it. I want to get more personal and give you guys a little bit more. Want to see something specific here? I am always open to feedback.

I will post a link to an exercise in every blog post. Let me know what you think of it after you give it a try!

In this blog:
1. Happy hips
Sore, restricted hips are everywhere. How did this happen??? When you were 10 you could move your hips all over the place, pain free, some of us could do the splits! Why has this changed? Is it because we are getting older? NO! It is because we have stopped moving.

Our body listens and when we stop using ranges it assumes those ranges are not important. It gets stronger in the ranges with use i.e. our body gets better at sitting and not moving much.

BUT don't worry! The good thing is we can re-educate our body and regain those happy, healthy and pain free ranges.

Try the hip CARS in this video and if you want to really re-charge your body, come in for an assessment and lets start turning back the hands of time.

2. New Years resolutions, the good the bad and the persistent

While I hope all or your New Years goals are going well but there is a good chance most have you have fallen off and said to hell with change! Well, don't feel bad, here are some confessions about mine:

Water intake: this is a HUGE goal of mine. I have been using a water tracker app and I would say I am meeting my goal 50% of the time. Still, I am happy that I am  drinking more than before.

Keto diet: My goal was to get back on this but I have failed every day. I feel way better on this diet but darn, now that I am used to having carbs again it is hard. I haven't given up hope though.

What would help you reach your goal? I have really found the accountability of the water app helped me. Share with me how you stay on track with your goals!
